The research on open source private cloud deployment will contribute to perfecting the methodology of cloud deployment in general and private cloud of the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Recently, the concept of cloud computing has been mentioned a lot in its application in production - business activities of the enterprise. With the desire to build a cloud computing software system using reliable open source, easy to be proactive in deploying, maintaining, upgrading and developing later, from 2017 to 2018, MSc. Ngo Minh Phuoc and his colleagues carried out the topic: "Mastering research and pilot implementation of the Private Cloud model using open source solutions" with open source software, Apache Cloudstack.

According to experts' forecasts, in the next 2-3 years, cloud computing will really explode and become an important factor for the development of the 4.0 revolution in Vietnam.

Up to now, Vietnam has achieved 41/100 points and became the 14th country in the ranking of Cloud service coverage. This shows that the Cloud model is gaining popularity and starting to dominate over the traditional IT model. In the future, the application of this model in Vietnam is expected to increase dramatically and diversify. However, the transition of traditional IT infrastructures to cloud computing (DMT) is still facing significant obstacles in terms of theoretical basis, methodology as well as practical experience in application implementation. .
