Microsoft released Windows File Recovery Tool to help recover deleted data

You accidentally delete data on your computer? Don't worry, Microsoft introduced the Windows File Recovery Tool on Windows, a feature designed to let you retrieve mistakenly deleted files on your device.

What is Windows File Recovery Tool?
It can be really frustrating to see that the data files you've worked hard to get have been accidentally deleted. But now with this Windows File Recovery Tool, you can get it back easily. The tool is classified as a Command Line command line application that can recover some documents and files from local hard drivers, SD memory cards, and USB drives.

However, cloud storage data and network sharing are not supported by this new feature.

Similar to any file recovery method, this must be used as soon as you can to ensure that files are not overwritten. This is because there are limitations as with any other tools in Microsoft and other platforms.

This tool includes MP3 files, MP4 clips, JPEG images, PDF files, and your office related files from presentations in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint formats.

Designed mostly for NTFS file systems, this Microsoft file recovery tool uses a default method that allows users to recover files even from damaged disks or after they've formatted (formatted). hard disk.

This feature can even allow platform users to recover data or specific files from ReFS, FAT, and exFAT file systems.

This new tool is very useful for users who have accidentally deleted a file they were working on, or they have cleaned up their drive. It is very different from the previous ones, because, in addition to being owned by the technology company, it also makes a difference from the tools to recover files from previous Windows systems.

How to use Windows File Recovery Tool
First, open the Windows File Recovery Tool from the Start Menu, then open Windows Terminal or PowerShell as an administrator.

You may need a know-how about encryption here. In the HTML box settings, you can enter the command "winfr" to find your options.

There are several options for recovering lost files. One of them is to run commands to recover files or folders based on file type, file name or "wildcard name" (file type, file name, wildcard names).

Users can visit the Microsoft Support page to view options, including advanced details.
