Hotels without walls, ceilings, wifi in Switzerland

Guests will spend the night in a room without walls, ceilings, television, wifi or toilet, only a bed set in the vast and airy mountains.

A new "room" of the Null Stern hotel chain, Switzerland was put into use, which attracted a lot of visitors because apart from the bed, there was nothing else, including walls, ceilings, toilets ... Beds is located on Mount Graubünden in the Alps, at a height of 1,969 m.

The minimalist design includes a bed, two lights, a nightstand, and the nearest toilet is a 10-minute walk away. If you are lucky, when you spend the night here, you can also see some Swiss cows.

The "room" had no walls, no ceilings, no television, no plumbing, and no other guests. Room service is still the local farmers themselves, they also wear formal clothes such as neck bows, white gloves and shoes. They serve breakfast to your bed with local specialties like sandwich salami and coffee.

This "thousand star" hotel room idea was implemented by design artists Frank and Patrik Riklin. They are the ones who bring Null Stern's special reputation in the luxury hospitality industry.

This is not the first time this hotel has launched new, exotic products. In 2010, they opened a 14-bed hotel located entirely under an abandoned nuclear cellar near the town of Gallen, Switzerland. About 3,000 guests came here to pay nearly $ 26 for a night's stay. Curious visitors can also explore an old Null Stern, which has been converted into a museum.

Surprisingly, the "room" in the Alps, which has been open since July, has a long list of visitors wishing to experience the thousand-star night. The price for one night here is currently 250 USD. The hotel will always be available from spring to autumn, but if the weather is bad, your booking will be canceled to ensure your benefit. However, if you want you still have the opportunity to sleep in this "star" hotel.

Two Riklins house designers are planning to build an additional 25 beds in different valleys across Switzerland.
