Cadillac Escalade ESV - full-size SUV increased in size

The long-wheelbase version of the new generation Escalade has a length of 5,766 mm, slightly higher than the standard 384 mm, priced at $ 80,500.

After the price of the fifth-generation Cadillac Escalade leaked online, immediately some information and a single photo of the Escalade ESV appeared. The ESV is a long wheelbase version of the luxury American luxury SUV.

The Escalade ESV 2021 is 5,766 mm long, and 3,407 mm wheelbase compared to 5,382 mm and 3,071 mm of the standard version. As a result, luggage space is 3,584 liters, compared to 3,089 liters of the regular version.

It has two engine options. The first is 6.2 liter V8 capacity of 420 horsepower and 623 Nm of torque. Or customers can choose Duramax turbo-diesel engine capacity of 3 liter, six-cylinder in line, capacity of 277 horsepower and 623 Nm of torque. The two engines are paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive.

Like the standard version, the ESV is equipped with Super Cruise semi-automatic steering technology, allowing hands-free driving on the North American highway system with the help of Lidar map data, high-tech positioning, system the driver's concentration monitoring system and a range of cameras and radar sensors. Super Cruise also has a range of driver assistance systems like automatic lane changing.

The cockpit features a 38-inch curved OLED screen system. The system includes three screens, a 7.2-inch driver information screen on the left of the steering wheel, a 14.2-inch screen for the dashboard and a 16.9-inch infotainment screen.

Optional Night Vision technology for night vision, using infrared technology to enhance visibility as well as pedestrian detection.

Customers choose the entertainment system for the rear seats with 12.6 inch touch screen, support for gaming, playing music and playing videos via HDMI, USB. The new generation Escalade comes with AKG's new audio system with 19 speakers and a subwoofer, while the AKG system adds an optional 36 speakers and amplifier.

Compared to the starting price of 76,200 USD of the standard version, Escalade ESV is priced from 80,500 USD for the rear-wheel drive Luxury version. Higher is the four-wheel drive Sport version priced at 92,900 USD.

Cadillac Escalade is a large luxury SUV that has been produced by the American automaker since 1998 and has just entered the fifth generation. The first generation only had a five-door version. By the second generation (2002-2006), Escalade had four-door versions with two versions of EXT (pickup) and ESV with all-wheel drive as standard equipment.

In the third generation (2007-2014), the ESV version increased the wheelbase length and by the fifth generation (from 2021), this version increased in size.

Cadillac sold in Vietnam is currently imported privately. The Escalade ESV 2019 model costs about 10 billion VND.
